Catching Up

Finally trying to catch up since my last post.  Life has been crazy busy raising our handsome one year old boy!!

Cam man turned one at the end of July and boy has he had so much going on!  His party was carnival themed and he had such a great turn out of all of our awesome family and friends!

It was a day filled with bouncing in the bounce house, hotdogs, presents, popcorn, and of course cake!

Since then, we have been busy learning to walk, talk, and have fun! Starting day school in September and can't wait to see how much fun he will have!!

Check back in a week to see how his first day of school went...  Not sure who is more teary eyed about this..  Mommy or daddy?

My Journey... ItWorks!, Really Really!

As most of you know, I have started selling a product called ItWorks!   This line is most famous for the body wraps that are used by celebrities and famous people all over the world.  I am so excited to share with you all my journey in not only selling these products, but using them too :)

It all started when my best friend asked me to join her team and do this with her.  After much hesitation (2 months of hesitation) I finally gave in and said YES!  This has been the best and easiest way that I have made extra money for myself and my family.  I am so lucky that I have been given this opportunity to be a part of something so amazing, uplifting, and self-rewarding!!

As I started selling this product, I was curious about the variety of products that were offered, so I started trying out different ones.  Of course, I had to try the famous body warps.  I can successfully say that after 5 body wraps in less than 2 months, I am now down 2 whole sizes.  This has helped me loose that last bit of weight from having my sweet baby boy 8 months ago!

This picture gives you an idea of results and just exactly what the body wrap does!

After a month of starting the wraps, I started to incorporate the Ultimate Thermofit weight-loss pills.  I take one every morning and drink lots of water.  Now I have tried several different products throughout the year..  The thermofit helped me feel energized, and overall helps my body to just feel good.  I Love them!!

This picture tells you the best way to start your weight loss process!  If you have any questions about these, contact me :)

Last week, I did the facial applicators for the first time!!  And guess what, I LOVE THEM!   My skin is so soft and tighter than before..   No botox or injections for this girl!   How does it work?  Put the mask on for 45 minutes, take off and rub in the extra lotion, and go to bed :)    This has been a night routine- 1/week.

The picture below is the before and after of my first facial applicator.  Both taken with a flash and same lighting.

I am so excited to continue on my weightloss journey and see even better results.  I am not near where I would like to be BUT down 2 sizes?  I'll take it!!

If you too are interested in losing weight or feeling better about yourself with our skincare line, check out my website!  It gives you a full description on each product.  http://carolinegear.myitworks.com

We are always looking for members to join our team!!   If you are interested in making the easiest money possible, then contact me for more information.  WE WANT YOU ON OUR TEAM!  There are SO many incentives for you when you join!

It only takes $99 to get started and you make up most of that whenever you sell 1 package of body wraps!  Easy Peasy!!!

We have products for EVERYONE!   Men, Women, Pregnant Woman, and Children.

Time Flies..When Your Having Fun!!

Time sure does fly around here..

Since I posted last, SO much has been happening!!   Of course, experiencing all of my baby's "Firsts" has been our highlight.   We have learned to sit independently, rock back and forth on his knees, start new foods, and of course, learn how to talk.  His favorite word is "mama" and "baba".   He just learned to say "dada" and loves smiling and laughing :)    St. Patricks Day was Sunday and of course, I had to get him something cute to wear.

Yesterday, my best friend had her sweet baby girl.  She is adorable and looks SO sweet.  Cameron is excited to meet his new girlfriend and I cannot wait to hold her in my arms <3

McKinley Grace

We sure have a lot going on in this life of ours..  Of course we have the everyday goings of work, play, and sleep.  We have been in the middle of all of the wedding festivities for Miss Molly and have enjoyed every bit of it!!  I love seeing my gorgeous and amazing cousin SO happy with the man she is about to marry.  April 27th cannot get here fast enough- ALYS Beach here we come ;)

Last week was my husband's birthday week and we sure celebrated all week!  Another year old, and another year down.  This birthday we celebrated by going to the Houston Rodeo with two of our good friends.  Had a crawfish boil on Saturday (his actual birthday day) and rounded out dinner Sunday night with one side of the family.  We finish it off with another celebration this Friday with the rest of the family!!   Birthday's are kind of a big deal in this household :)

The Birthday Buds

And of course, we cannot go to the rodeo without getting little Cam a souvenir.  Last year was his first pair of boots, this year is a cowboy hat.  He is one happy little boy!!

Now that I have caught you up, I will try to keep you updated more.  This week we start a new construction of our backyard- putting in a deck. Should be fun!!

McKinley Taylor

I hate to say that I have seriously been lacking in keeping up with my blogging.  Life has been SO incredibly busy and not enough time to do things that I enjoy :)

In the last month, we had my best friends baby shower!!  She is due ANY day and I cannot wait to see Sweet McKinley!   I helped throw her shower with a great group of girls!   We tried to make everything perfect for Danielle and little decorations that were meaningful.

McKinley's baby shower was Paris themed.  Anyone who knows Danielle knows she is obsessed with Paris, Wieners, Fleur-de-lis, and the color red and black.  So naturally, we incorporated a little of it all. Below are some of the special details that we came up with:

The Entry way contained her baby book with "Wish" Cards for McKinley!

Balloons filled the Entry room

 Some Paris Decor

The decoration table..  We did craft your own onesies and make your own headbands for McKinley!

Door Decal

Custom Wine Labels  "Taylor Made"

French Foods: E'Clairs, Mini Quiches, Fruit Skewers, Cheese Platter, Croissants

Amazing Cake!

AND it's all for the sweet pea - McKinley

We are all so excited and anxiously awaiting the arrival of this amazingly sweet baby!!   You have many people that LOVE you!

One Year..

One Year...

I never knew or could even fathom how much can change in a year.  I never comprehended that the best things and the worst things could happen in a one year period.  On January 28th, 2012 I married my best friend, my love, my confidant, my everything.  Together, we have had trials and tribulations in life with loss and gain.

One year ago, my life forever changed.  FOR THE BEST! :)   My husband and I married, had an amazing vacation in Costa Rica, Lost someone very close to me, lost a majority of our supposed "friends", brought new life into this world, welcomed new family members, and spent our first holidays together as a family! We had many reality checks along the way and joyous occasions with our true friends and family..

I came across this saying on Pinterest and felt that it had the perfect meaning.. To my Husband and My Son:

My husband and I a year ago:

My husband and I now:

We spent last night trying out a new restaurant (which was amazingly delicious!) and enjoyed our 1 year anniversary cake made by the lovely Mrs. Kathy Ponder!

Whats up for us this year?

A year full of new lives being born into our families, new family members to be joined (YAY MOLLY AND JOSH!), new friends to enjoy, and most of all a love that will continue to grow between my husband, my son, and I.

Who knows, we may even have bigger plans in store too ;)

NOW, time to get ready for my amazing best friend's baby shower.. lots to get done in TWO days!

Love Always,
Caroline

Pinteresting

I woke up this morning and felt pretty good (despite the several gallstones that are stuck in my gallbladder)!! So today was used as a organize/clean/craft day! I was so happy to get out of the house and do a little shopping since I've been cooped up recovering from my previous surgery last week.... And only to have another one next week :/.

Knowing I'd be down for another week, I wanted to get stuff done! Little did my husband know what he would be recruited into doing! Lol

We decided to get little Cam and go on a family outing to hobby lobby.. Not such a bright idea in the middle of the day on a Saturday! Needless to say, we had fun! I got some things for working on projects. Currently, I am working on picture canvasses. As a wedding present a friend of mine, she had our last name put on a canvass in my two favorite colors ( which were also our wedding colors)!! Naturally, I decided I wanted to add picture canvasses to collage around the main Gear canvass and add some character to our hallway! Below is the first one I did.. Easy breezy and didn't take long at all! I have a few finishing touches but so excited it turned out good that I can't wait to do more!

Now onto my next Pinterest project for my dear best friends sweet baby girl.. Auntie C cannot wait to meet her!

New Year, New Memories

I hope each you have had a fabulous new Year! We stayed home with our love and watched movies.. Extremely low key but just right where we wanted to be!

We are only on day 6 and already have so much to look forward too! Last week I underwent a few procedures to help make me feel better and the recovery is a bit slower than I anticipated.. BUT anything to feel better is key!

In the first week of 2013, our little boy has decided he wants to attempt to crawl.. TOO fast I say, but apparently what he wants he is going to do ;). He also has started solids and we have figured out that vegetables are NOT his thing.. imagine that! I am so excited to be able to break out our magic baby bullet and start making his foods- easy peasy I hear!

The rest of the things we have to look forward to in 2013 is overwhelming and we are SO exited!! We get many additions into our family with a wedding in April (YAY for another awesome cousin!), my best friend is having her first baby (YAY for Cameron's new best friend), and two new cousins (YAY Jenn and Keestan and Caleb and Kristin!!).

We cannot wait to see what else this year has in store for us and our little family ;). Enjoy 2013 Y'all!
